UPDATE (November 1, 2024): Recent reports have been released which clarify what occurred leading up to and during this accident. According to those reports, a BMW occupied by a 19-year-old male driver, 19-year-old Kylie Folmar, and a 17-year-old girl was heading eastbound on S.H. 35 when the wreck took place. The BMW was reportedly involved in a collision with a northbound Cadillac that had been attempting make a left turn from a private drive in order to head west on the highway. The crash caused the BMW to overturn, coming to a stop on the north side of the highway resting on its roof. No additional information is currently available; the investigation remains ongoing.
Van Vleck, TX — September 2, 2024, Kylie Folmar and another girl were killed following a car accident at approximately 12:30 a.m. along S.H. 35.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Kylie Folmar and a 17-year-old girl were passengers in a BMW on State Highway 35 when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between the BMW and a Cadillac. The wreck reportedly caused the BMW to become engulfed in flames. Both Fulmar and the 17-year-old girl sustained fatal injuries as a result of the wreck, according to preliminary reports. Apparently, no one from the Cadillac suffered injury. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
