Hope, AR — October 19, 2023, Kumar Dahal was killed in a semi-truck accident at 2:24 p.m. along I-30.
According to reports, 34-year-old Kumar Dahal of Etna, Ohio, was travelling in an International semi-truck in the westbound lanes of I-30 just west of Hope, AR when the incident occurred.
For reasons that are still unknown, the semi-truck veered off the road to the right, over the north shoulder, and into the woods. The truck reportedly collided with several trees before being overturned and catching fire. Dahal was killed as a result of the incident.
Authorities report that the weather was clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the accident, which is still under investigation; no further details are available at this time.
