Austin, TX — April 6, 2024, Kamelia Osorio and three others were injured in a car accident just before 12:30 p.m. along Ohlen Road.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Kamelia Osorio, a 38-year-old man, and several children of varying ages were traveling in a southbound Dodge Journey SUV along Ohlen Road in the vicinity of the Contour Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck on Ohlen attempted to make a left turn into a private drive at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to southbound traffic. This resulted in a collision between the two vehicles.
Osorio incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash, while a 10-year-old boy, a 7-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old girl suffered reportedly moderate injuries. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
