Accident Report
Nacogdoches County, TX — February 28, 2026, Juan Martinez-Castro was killed in a truck accident at about 3 a.m. on U.S. Highway 59 northwest of Redfield.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a northbound 2014 Dodge Challenger and a southbound 2019 International semi-truck collided near Banita Creek.
Dodge driver Juan Martin Martinez-Castro, 24, of Nacogdoches died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report.
The truck driver, a 47-year-old man, was not injured, the report states.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Nacogdoches County crash at this time.
