Austin, TX — July 20, 2024, Juan Castillo was injured as the result of a car accident that happened around 4:12 p.m. along Rundberg Lane.
Initial details about the accident say that it happened in the area off the East Rundberg Lane and Interstate 35 intersection.
Authorities said that 34-year-old Juan Manuel Castillo was in a Buick Century going traveling northbound on the service road. At Rundberg, Castillo’s Buick was reportedly struck by an eastbound Chevy pickup. As a result, Castillo was seriously injured. There did not appear to be any other injuries.

It often surprises people when authorities end up treating a crash as a low priority, and it leads to them missing important details. Take, for example, a case I handled not long ago where they completely overlooked a victim having a defective seatbelt. As a result, they were seriously injured for reasons beyond their control when they should have been okay.
