After such a devastating car accident, it’s important to ensure investigators are preserving as much evidence as possible. A lot of it can be time-sensitive, and a cursory examination of the facts could let important yet subtle factors slip through the cracks. That’s why a lot of families end up seeking independent investigations in the first place. Weeks or months go by, and they find that authorities aren’t really able to give them the answers they need. Maybe authorities here have been more thorough, but that remains to be seen.
