Denton, TX — June 18, 2023, Jose Rojas Ramirez sustained ultimately fatal injuries due to a car accident at around 2:50 a.m. along Duncan Street.
Preliminary details about the crash say that it happened off the corner of the Duncan Street and Teasley Lane intersection.
According to officials, 24-year-old Jose Rojas Ramirez was in a Ford F-150 that was going southbound along Duncan. At a curve in the road, the vehicle reportedly ran off the side of the roadway. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a cement barrier.
Due to the collision, Rojas Ramirez sustained reportedly incapacitating injuries; records show he succumbed to those injuries on June 20. At this time, it appears no one else was involved in the crash.
Investigations are ongoing.
