Denton, TX — June 18, 2023, Jose Rojas Ramirez sustained ultimately fatal injuries due to a car accident at around 2:50 a.m. along Duncan Street.
Preliminary details about the crash say that it happened off the corner of the Duncan Street and Teasley Lane intersection.
According to officials, 24-year-old Jose Rojas Ramirez was in a Ford F-150 that was going southbound along Duncan. At a curve in the road, the vehicle reportedly ran off the side of the roadway. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a cement barrier.
Due to the collision, Rojas Ramirez sustained reportedly incapacitating injuries. Records show that Rojas Ramirez succumbed to those injuries days later. At this time, it appears no one else was involved in the crash. Investigations into contributing factors are ongoing.
