Love County, OK — June 23, 2026, JoAnne Jones, Ricardo Avila and four other people were injured in an afternoon truck accident on Interstate 35/Monarch Highway.
Authorities said a northbound semi-truck overcorrected after going off the road, then crashed into car. The impact forced the car into another car, while the truck overturned in the road.
The driver of one of the cars, 63-year-old Broken Arrow resident JoAnne Jones, and two passengers suffered unspecified injuries in the crash, according to authorities.
A passenger in the other car was injured as well, authorities said.
The truck driver, 58-year-old Ricardo Vargas Avila, and a passenger also sustained unspecified injuries, according to authorities.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Love County crash at this time.
