Ogden, NY — September 6, 2024, a woman was killed following a car versus dump truck accident at approximately 3:00 p.m. along Manitou Road.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Manitou Road in the vicinity of Big Ridge Road.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle. The dump truck was reportedly overturned on top of the passenger vehicle over the course of the accident. The woman who had been in the passenger car suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
