Houston, TX — October 5th, 2024, Jesus Jimenez was injured following a car accident at around 4:31 P.M. on Highway 45.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the afternoon hours of October 5th. According to official reports, Jesus Jimenez was travelling in a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Hwy 45 in the northbound lanes, near the Hwy 45 Service Rd exit when the accident occurred. According to official reports, a Ford Fusion was struck in the rear which caused it to lose control and traverse multiple lanes, where it was struck by the Jeep operated by Jimenez.
As a result of the impact, Jimenez’s vehicle struck a barrier wall causing it to flip on its side, resulting in serious damage. When first responders arrived on the scene they found that Jimenez had sustained serious injuries, and transported him to the hospital. At this time, it is unknown if the initial vehicle that reportedly caused the accident has been found, and if any charges or citations will be issued.
