Austin, TX — May 20, 2023, Jeremy Jimenez was fatally injured as the result of a pedestrian accident at around 3:34 a.m. along the I-35 service road.
According to currently available information, the collision occurred off the corner of I-35 and Teri Road. It appears that 18-year-old Jeremy Jimenez was on foot at the time and was on the service road. It’s unclear at this time if he was walking along the road or attempting to cross.
While Jimenez was in the road, it appears that a northbound Pontiac did not avoid Jimenez in time, striking him in the roadway. As a result of the collision, Jimenez sustained fatal injuries. Authorities did not release any specifics about the driver involved, and it does not appear there are any pending charges. Additional details surrounding the accident are unavailable at this time.
