Montgomery County, TX — November 22, 2024, Jared Quintero was killed following a single-vehicle car accident shortly before 12:15 p.m. along Interstate Highway 45.
According to authorities, 43-year-old Jared Quintero was traveling in a northbound Buick Enclave on I.H. 45 in the vicinity between Seven Coves Road and Montgomery Street when the accident took place.
Details surrounding the accident remain scarce. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Buick failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It was subsequently involved in a single-vehicle collision in which it’s front-end was damaged. Quintero suffered reportedly fatal injuries over the course of the accident, according to reports. Mechanical failures, such as brake malfunctions, tire blowouts, or steering issues, can cause drivers to lose control, leading to lane departure and collisions. A detailed forensic examination of the Buick Enclave is critical to identifying or ruling out such potential issues. Additionally, the performance of the vehicle’s safety systems, such as airbags and seat belts, should be evaluated to determine whether they functioned as intended to protect Jared Quintero.
