How Did This Accident Occur?

This crash presents as a straight-forward coming together of two vehicles, but based on my experience the stark size difference between the two vehicles involved in this one warrants a second look. A thorough investigation, by the police or a third party, needs to look into exactly what caused this crash.

In this case, police reportedly are expected to file criminal charges against the bus driver, but it’s still worth looking deeper. Was the driver properly trained? Did the bus have any mechanical problems that contributed to the crash?
