Vidor, TX — July 8, 2023, James McNeil was killed and another was injured following a car accident at around 6:18 a.m. along I-10.
According to officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident took place near I-10 westbound exit 861.
Initial statements about the crash say that 41-year-old James McNeil was in a vehicle that was going westbound on the interstate. Due to a series of events not clear at this time, the vehicle crashed. This resulted in McNeil sustaining injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. Another person in the vehicle had injuries which were not described as serious. No further information about the accident can be confirmed at this time.
