Hershey, PA — July 24, 2025, a child was killed as the result of a drowning accident late Thursday at the Hersheypark amusement park.
According to initial details from authorities, the incident happened at the amusement park located at 100 Hersheypark Drive.
Investigators have not said what factors may have led up to the incident. Reports say a 9-year-old child was found “in distress.” The child was rescued from the pool unresponsive, and life-saving efforts began. Ultimately, that child reportedly died due to drowning.
