Ellis County, TX — May 19, 2025, at least one person was killed as the result of an 18-wheeler accident that happened around 3:30 p.m. on US Highway 287.
Officials say that the crash happened along northbound lanes of the highway in the area of Miller Road, northwest of Midlothian.
According to current statements, the accident involved a semi-trailer as well as one other vehicle. The 18-wheeler ended up overturned in the median. There is no word right now on what exactly led to the accident.
