An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one-person injured during the early morning hours of September 5th. According to official reports, Eva Jackson was travelling in a BMW on Crestmont St. turning onto S. Loop E Service Rd. when an unknown vehicle ran a red light and collided with the BMW. The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene and did not stop to render aid or provide insurance details.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Jackson had sustained significant injuries, however Jackson chose to go with family to seek medical attention rather than be transported via ambulance.
