Houston, TX — April 18, 2023, an elderly woman was killed following a two car accident at around 5:40 p.m. along Hidden Valley Drive.
Preliminary details about the crash were provided by Houston Police Department officials. It appears that the incident happened at 1001 Hidden Valley Drive at the intersection of Bunny Run Drive. This is in an area off the southwest corner of West Mt. Houston Road and the North Freeway.
Details right now suggest that an 80 year old woman was in a Ford Edge going eastbound along Hidden Valley. Another driver, a 55-year-old man, was apparently in a northbound Toyota Tacoma. Officials believe that one or possibly both drivers disregarded a 4-way stop, causing the two vehicles to collide.
The elderly woman died following the crash. Authorities mentioned a possible medical episode, but it’s unclear if they believe this to be a factor in the crash or a result of the crash. No other injuries were reported. It’s unclear right now if charges are being considered.
