Amarillo, TX — April 20, 2024, Dustin Lorenzana was killed following a wrong-way car versus truck accident at approximately 1:30 a.m. along I.H. 40.
According to authorities, 36-year-old Dustin Lorenzana, of Pampa, was traveling in an eastbound Chevrolet Equinox in the westbound lanes of Interstate Highway 40 in the vicinity east of Amarillo when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, due to the wrong-way situation, a head-on collision occurred between the Equinox and a westbound 18-wheeler. Lorenzana incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
