San Antonio, TX — April 14, 2023, one person was injured as the result of an accident where a dump truck and an 18-wheeler collided along I-35.
Investigators said that the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. in the area of O’Connor Road. Initial information said that an 18-wheeler going along the interstate somehow crashed into a dump truck. As a result, the dump truck driver had injuries believed to be non-serious. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details about the crash are unavailable.

One would hope that police know a lot more than what I’m seeing in the news right now. It’s possible that they’re being reserved or perhaps that local media just doesn’t care about what happened here and have moved on to other stories. Sometimes, though, this lack of information can be a sign the crash isn’t really getting the attention it deserves. For something as complex as a commercial truck wreck, that’s just asking for something important to slip through the cracks.
