Henderson County, TX — September 3, 2024, Darrell Strickland was killed following a car accident that occurred at around 3:40 P.M. on CR 3105.
An investigation is underway following a car accident that left one person dead in the afternoon hours of September 3rd. According to official reports, Darrell Strickland was travelling in his pickup truck pulling a trailer in the westbound lanes of CR 3105 near FM 315 when for unknown reasons the vehicle lost control and left the road striking a fence. After striking a fence, the truck then collided with a tree before then flipping into a creek upside down.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Strickland had sustained serious injuries and was unconscious, before then transporting him to the hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, Strickland later succumbed and was pronounced deceased. At this time there has been no further information released from the accident.
