Tarrant County, TX — July 4, 2024, Corina Kalhoefer and one other person were injured in a car accident just after 6:00 p.m. along Sublett Road.
According to authorities, 56-year-old Corina Kalhoefer was traveling in a westbound Ford Explorer SUV on Sublett Road at the Royalcrest Drive intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Kia Soul occupied by a 60-year-old woman on Sublett Road attempted a left turn to go northbound on Roylacrest at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to oncoming westbound traffic. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the Kia and the left side of the Explorer. The impact caused the SUV to overturn, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop resting on its roof.
Both Kalhoefer and the woman from the Soul sustained serious injuries, according to reports. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
