Fairfield County, OH — July 12, 2023, Connie Stringer was killed and another person was injured after a semi-truck accident at around 8:00 a.m. on Coonpath Road.
Preliminary information about the crash was released by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Their statements say the collision occurred just outside Lancaster along Coonpath Road NW, just off U.S. Highway 33.
According to officials, 64-year-old Connie Stringer was in a Honda traveling eastbound along Coonpath Road. While doing so, it appears that a westbound tractor-trailer attempted to make a left turn near the intersection of State Route 158. Doing so, Stringer’s vehicle collided with the 18-wheeler.
As a result of the collision, Stringer succumbed to fatal injuries. The driver of the truck reportedly had injuries described as serious. No others appeared to be involved in the crash. Right now, it’s unclear if any charges or citations are being considered. Investigations are ongoing.
