How Did This Accident Occur?

I imagine most people would blame this crash on the driver, figuring she was tired or distracted when she ran her SUV off the road, but I’ve seen enough instances where other factors caused crashes to know that patience is a virtue. It’s always best to wait until the investigation is completed, rather than rely on guesswork or assumptions.

Investigators surely will consider whether driver error caused the crash, but will they look into other possible scenarios like a tire blowout or software failure in the Expedition? I’m not certain about that, so those affected by this crash may need to consider an independent investigaiton.

The key is asking the right questions and digging until they are answered to the satisfaction of the people hurt in this crash.
