Anderson, SC — April 20, 2025, five people sustained injuries as the result of a church bus accident at around 12:30 p.m. on Whitner Street.
According to preliminary information, the incident happened west of town in the area of Boyd Street.
Right now, exact circumstances remain unclear. It appears that a Capstone Church bus was going along the roadway when the driver reportedly fell asleep. This resulted in the bus crashing along West Whitner Street.
Five people from the bus were taken to an area hospital. Their injuries were reportedly non-life-threatening. At this time, additional details are unavailable.
