Grayson County, TX — February 14, 2024, Christy Costello and one other person were injured in a car accident at about 4:45 p.m. along Farm to Market 120.
According to authorities, 36-year-old Christy Costello and a 42-year-old man were traveling in an eastbound Chevy Silverado pickup truck on F.M. 120 in the vicinity of the F.M. 131 intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Nissan Versa on F.M. 131 failed to stop at the stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-left corner of the Nissan and the front-right corner of the pickup truck.
Costello incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck and the man who was also in the Silverado suffered reportedly moderate injuries, as well. They were both transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
