Potter County, TX — March 22, 2024, Christopher Scott was injured following a motorcycle versus car accident just after 4:15 p.m. along Amarillo Boulevard.
According to authorities, 49-year-old Christopher Scott was traveling on a westbound Kawasaki motorcycle on West Amarillo Boulevard at the Amarillo Boulevard, B.L. 40, intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Nissan truck failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the right side of the motorcycle and the front-end of the truck.
Scott, who was ejected from the motorcycle as a result of the crash, incurred suspected severe injuries. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. A 76-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman from the truck apparently sustained minor injuries, as well.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
