May 28, 2026, Cayla Wegner was injured following a car accident at around 8:08 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 2331.
Authorities said that the incident took place at the intersection of FM 2331 and County Road 913, north of Godley.
It appears that 33-year-old Cayla Wenger was a passenger in a Jeep Grand Cherokee going southbound on FM 2331. A GMC Sierra was going eastbound on County Road 913. At the intersection, authorities said that the GMC failed to yield, and the vehicles collided.
Due to the accident, Cayla Wegner reportedly had serious injuries. No other injuries were confirmed. At this time, additional details about the accident are unavailable.
