An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of September 24. According to official reports, Carly Nash was travelling in a Nissan Rogue on Austin Ave. in the southbound lanes, at the Walker St. intersection, when a Ford Fusion coming from the west on Walker failed to yield the right-of-way at an intersection and struck Nash.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Nash had sustained serious injuries and transported them to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Nash’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
