How Did This Accident Occur?

When vehicles going the opposite direction collide, it typically means one of the vehicles lost control or attempted to make a turn when they shouldn’t have. Those things can happen due to something as simple as distracted driving or something as complex as a vehicle lane assistance system malfunction. That’s why it’s important car accidents like this aren’t treated lightly.

Investigators should always have the right training and equipment to rule out even unlikely possible factors, and they need enough time to actually look into all possibilities. Otherwise, something important could slip through the cracks. It might surprise folks how often I get calls from victims and families who are asking the same questions months after a crash that they had on day one. No doubt some people reading this have their own stories of being left in the dark by officials. If authorities here are being thorough, that would be good to hear. It’s just not something I’d ever take for granted.
