Talty, TX — November 17, 2023, three people were injured in a car accident just after 10:30 at night along County Road 215.

According to reports, a 39-year-old man, a 53-year-old woman, and a 24-year-old man were traveling in an eastbound Acura on Farm to Market 148 approaching the F.M. 1641 intersection when the accident took place.

For reasons yet to be confirmed, the Acura neglected to stop at a stop sign at the intersection before veering off of the south side of the road, entering a ditch, and colliding with a tree and an unoccupied Ford F-550. The Ford was then pushed into a Ford F-100, also unoccupied. The woman and the 39-year-old man both sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash; the 24-year-old man also sustained minor injuries. All three were transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. Additional details—including the identities of those involved—are not available at this point in time.
