If the allegations here are true, it’s obviously concerning that someone under 21 may have been drinking. That brings up serious concerns about where the alcohol came from. It may have been provided by an older acquaintance, but it’s important to rule out the possibility someone sold alcohol to someone who is underage. I’ve handled cases against hundreds of alcohol providers, and establishments willing to break the law and serve minors often are breaking all kinds of other rules. It’s important to bring those issues to light as soon as possible to ensure there are appropriate consequences. Are those steps being taken here?
