Fort Worth, TX — September 2, 2024, five people were injured following a car accident at approximately 3:00 p.m. along East Loop 820.
According to authorities, four people were traveling in a motor vehicle on East Loop 820 in the vicinity of Meadowbrook Drive when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between the motor vehicle and a police SUV. One person from the motor vehicle sustained reportedly critical injuries as a result of the wreck. Two others from that vehicle suffered serious injuries, as well. The final person from that car and the female officer who had been in the SUV received minor injuries, as well. Those who necessitated it were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to get necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
