How Did This Accident Occur?
People might just assume something common led to this crash, such as unsafe speeds or distracted driving. Those are obviously worth considering, but a lot of single-vehicle accidents are actually unavoidable. It’s important to consider that possibility, as well.
For instance, roadway condition is something I rarely see authorities look into. If roads are full of potholes, lines aren’t clearly painted, signage or lighting is lacking, or if there are other hazards which are left unaddressed, it can easily cause drivers to lose control of their vehicle. Not only does overlooking that risk blaming someone for something they couldn’t avoid, it could also allow dangerous conditions to persist, putting others at risk.
Is there anyone local to this area that can provide some insight on this stretch of road and if it’s in need of improvements?
