Grapevine, TX — January 18, 2025, Brody Day was injured following a car accident that happened at around 2:08 a.m. along Highway 26.

According to officials, 21-year-old Brody Day was driving a Toyota Camry northeast along the highway. For reasons not confirmed, the vehicle lost control and ran off-road. There, it crashed into a light pole.

For example, did investigators take the time and have the right tools to fully examine the crash? A vehicle losing control and hitting a light pole could involve road hazards, poor lighting, or sudden evasive actions. Did authorities document skid marks, road conditions, and environmental factors that might explain what happened? If the investigation was rushed, critical details may have been overlooked.
Did they consider whether a vehicle defect played a role? Mechanical failures—such as brake malfunctions, steering issues, or tire blowouts—can cause sudden loss of control. Additionally, faulty seatbelts or airbags could make injuries worse than they should have been. Was the vehicle inspected before any potential evidence was lost?
