One thing to consider after a fatal accident is how the investigations are being handled. Frankly, authorities don’t always prioritize accident reconstruction, and that can lead to serious oversights. Especially with large complex commercial vehicles, it’s important that authorities have the time and tools to dig into even unlikely possible factors.
For example, have authorities looked into vehicle defects? Was this all the result of brake failure? Faulty tires? Steering? Maintenance neglect? Safety feature defects, like seatbelts or airbags? At the very least, this is stuff that should be ruled out. If it’s not, those affected by the crash may not feel they’re getting the full story. It’s only natural, then, they’d look for other avenues to get answers about what happened.
