Travis County, TX — March 23, 2024, Brian Atchison and four others were injured in a car accident just before 3:45 p.m. along Farm to Market 812.
According to authorities, a 19-year-old woman was traveling in a westbound Lexus on F.M. 812 in the vicinity west of Circuit of the Americas Boulevard when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Lexus failed to adjust its speed for traffic conditions. This resulted in a collision between the front of the Lexus and the back of a Ford Fusion occupied by 22-year-old Brian Atchison, a 27-year-old man, a 3-year-old boy, and a 28-year-old woman. The collision caused the Ford to be pushed forward, leading to a secondary collision with the back of a Chevy Silverado pickup truck.
Atchison incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. The 27-year-old man from the Ford reportedly sustained moderate injuries, and the 28-year-old woman and 3-year-old girl from the Ford, as well as the woman from the Lexus, all suffered apparently minor injuries. Those who were injured were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
