Linn County, OR — July 31, 2023, Brenden Dwyer was killed in a truck collision on westbound Santiam Highway 20 in Linn County, OR.

Authorities indicate that on July 31, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a bicyclist heading west on Highway 20 collided with a truck. Sources say the accident happened at approximately 8:00 in the morning.

Investigators have not determined the cause of the crash but say one person was killed. Officials confirmed the bicyclist, 34-year-old Brenden Dwyer, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The truck driver was not hurt in the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
