Billy Rose Killed in Work Accident in Paris, TX

Paris, TX — April 17, 2025, Billy Rose was killed as the result of a work accident which reportedly occurred off 19th Street SW.

OSHA put out a preliminary incident investigation summary. It shows that the accident happened at the address for Turner Industries Piping, just north of Loop 286.

Right now, a cause for the accident remains unconfirmed. 69-year-old Billy Rose reportedly died while on the job. Other details are unavailable, though OSHA listed numerous alleged “serious” violations.

The case appears to still be ongoing at this time.

People often hear about OSHA finding violations after a fatal work accident and thing that makes everything open-and-shut. In reality, that’s often just one part of the larger story. OSHA investigations are important, but they rarely address the needs of a worker’s family. Here’s why.

Texas has the most complex work fatality law of any other state in the country. There isn’t always a guaranteed path for getting a worker’s loved ones benefits following an accident.
