May 20, 2025, Bentley Dunn was injured as the result of a car accident at around 12:30 a.m. along US Highway 287.
Authorities were called out to the crash scene just west of Hedley off the eastbound lanes of the highway.
It appears that 18-year-old Bentley Dunn was in a Ford F-250 going along US 287. The pickup reportedly lost control and crashed. Bentley Dunn had serious injuries due to the crash, authorities said. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash.

How Did This Accident Occur?
People might see the age of the driver here and just assume he was on his phone or driving recklessly. Those kinds of assumptions aren’t going to do any good for anyone. While it is true that teens are statistically more likely to make mistakes, they’re susceptible to all the same factors as the rest of us. I’ve handled plenty of cases where young, inexperienced drivers crashed because of factors beyond their control. As such, investigations should be thorough enough to consider all possible factors, likely or not. It’s up to the evidence to say how this crash happened.
