San Antonio, TX — April 1, 2023, Anthony Aleman was fatally injured due to a single-vehicle at around 4:00 along S.W. Loop 410.
Authorities have released preliminary details about the deadly car accident, which they say happened in the area of Loop 410 and Ray Ellison Boulevard.
According to information which authorities say is partially based on statements from a witness, a Chevy Avalanche turned onto southbound lanes of the Loop 410 service road from Medina Base Road. While going along the service road, authorities believe the Chevy somehow went to the left and crashed into the retainer wall. It then veered to the right and crashed off-road. Police say the witness did not see the crash itself.
It appears that 27-year-old Anthony Aleman was found outside of the Chevy Avalanche following the crash. Aleman sustained fatal injuries due to the accident, authorities say. No one else appeared to be hurt. Right now, an exact cause for the crash has yet to be confirmed.
