Andrea Gambrell Killed in Car Accident in Conroe, TX

Montgomery County, TX — November 24, 2025, Andrea Gambrell was killed as the result of a car accident at around 11:00 p.m. along I-45.

Initial statements on the crash say that it happened just off Loop 336 in south Conroe.

According to officials, 49-year-old Andrea Gambrell was on foot at the time. While walking, it appears a GMC Sierra going northbound struck Andrea Gambrell. As a result, Andrea Gambrell was killed.

Pedestrian accidents too often go overlooked because people think they’re always open-and-shut. Either the victim was in a crosswalk, or they weren’t. Right? Well, things just aren’t that simple. Like any serious car accident, it’s important to consider all the factors leading up to the collision. This should include things like cellphone records, nearby cameras, road markings and maintenance, lighting, vehicle speed, possible alcohol usage, etc. If authorities looked into all of that here, that’s good. But if this accident is like far too many that come across my desk, there may be more to the story not getting the attention it deserves.
