Portland, OR — November 28, 2024, Andrea J. Doering was killed and three other people were injured in a car accident at about 6 p.m. on Northeast Lombard Street.
Authorities said a 2003 Honda Accord was driving west on Lombard when they believe it crashed head-on into a 2019 Honda HRV. The collision occurred near the intersection of Lombard and Northeast 13th Avenue.
Andrea Doering, 46, a passenger in the HRV, was killed in the crash, authorities said. The HRV’s driver and another passenger were hospitalized with serious injuries after the crash.
The driver of the Accord, who also was hospitalized, is expected to face criminal charges because alcohol was a factor in the crash, authorities said.
A third vehicle reportedly was involved in the crash, but authorities have not released any additional information at this point.
The crash remains under investigation.
