Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

If alcohol was involved here, people would generally think that would result in a lot of attention, charges, mugshots, and the like. But even serious drunk driving wrecks can slip through the cracks. The reality is authorities don’t always give every crash their undivided attention. That’s why I get so many calls from folks who feel they need someone else to look at the investigations to see if authorities missed something important. Perhaps authorities here were thorough enough behind the scenes that those steps wouldn’t be necessary. However, it wouldn’t be unusual if this accident never got the attention it needed.
