How Did This Accident Occur?
Authorities seem to have sorted out how this crash happened, blaming an alleged drunk driver for causing the collision, but the investigation should not be over yet.
Texas law dictates that bars or restaurants can be held responsible for any injuries caused by a patron who was served despite being obviously intoxicated. I don’t know if that is what happened in this instance, but that is why further investigation is needed.
Police don’t typically track down such information, but there are avenues available for the families affected by this crash to seek accountability.
