Hopefully authorities can offer more information to the public about what happened here. Usually, someone in the community is able to connect the dots and help authorities identify the runaway driver. I recall I had a case, for example, where it took calls to the public for some new witnesses to come forward. They were able to provide information authorities somehow overlooked, and it led to someone facing consequences for their role in a fatal crash they nearly got away with. Are similar steps being taken to keep up the pressure here, as well?
