Accident Report
Watonwan County, MN — June 20, 2026, Wayne Hanson was killed and Zelda Hanson was injured in a truck accident at about 10:50 a.m. on State Highway 60.
Authorities said a 2024 Ford Bronco was heading south of 660th Avenue when it collided with a westbound 2023 Peterbilt semi-truck.
Ford driver Wayne Gary Hanson, 83, died in the crash, according to authorities, while passenger Zelda Carol Hanson, 83, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash east of Butterfield.
The truck driver was not injured, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Watonwan County crash at this time.
