One of the challenges with single-vehicle wrecks is a lot of people jump to conclusions. Since there’s just one person involved, people assume the worst. However, it’s important all possible factors get attention, and that requires careful, thorough investigations that prioritize the evidence. If authorities can show they’re pulling vehicle data, analyzing road markings, looking for nearby cameras, inspecting the vehicle for defects, and otherwise considering all possibilities, that’s a good sign they’re taking the investigations seriously. But if it seems like authorities are only scratching the surface, there may need to be more thorough independent investigations.
