Jeff Davis County, TX — December 28, 2024, Jaclyn Bearce and another person were injured in a truck accident at around 8:15 p.m. along Interstate Highway 10.
According to authorities, 37-year-old Jaclyn Bearce and a 45-year-old man were traveling in a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on I.H. 10 in the vicinity east of Stocks Ranch Road when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a semi-truck apparently took faulty evasive actions which led to a collision between the 18-wheeler and the pickup truck. The pickup reportedly overturned oved the coursed of the accident; Bearce sustained serious injuries due to the wreck, while the man who was with her in the pickup suffered moderated injuries.
