Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

While the cause of the crash is unconfirmed, authorities did mention looking into alcohol. It’s possible they’re just doing that because it’s standard procedure. But it can be a complex possible factor, so I have to wonder how thorough authorities have been. Too often, even when alcohol is involved, they just move on once they’ve found it. Many accidents like this, however, involve victims who were illegally over-served by an alcohol provider. Could it be that happened here? Is there a local establishment who broke the law and contributed to someone losing their life who has yet to answer for their actions? If nothing else, there’s a family out there that deserves to know what happened here.
